The Primavera 90 Violin Outfit represents value at the entry level to the market. While inexpensive, it is a real instrument - students will be able to learn to play the violin with a Primavera 90. Below this level of instrument, with the models now available in supermarkets, violins are of such low quality that students will struggle to get a reasonable sound and will therefore be more likely to give up their studies. We would therefore seriously advise buying the best violin your budget can stretch to as it represents a better investment than saving a few pounds at the outset.
The Primavera 90 features a hand carved maple and spruce body with inlaid purfling. The violin has rosewood fittings which are both durable and give stability to the instrument's tuning. A metal alloy tailpiece is fitted to the violin, and an ebonized fingerboard and ebony top nut.
The outfit is completed with a lightweight, hardwearing hard case with back pack straps and pockets for music and a hardwood half mounted bow with Ebony frog.
